Unquestionably the most modern, highest-quality and most precise diagnostic method.
Our leading dental centre can offer you 3D diagnostics. It is unquestionably one of the most modern, highest-quality and most precise diagnostic methods.
The examination uses 3D X-ray equipment, CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) scanners and special software that creates a 3D image of the scanned area that corresponds exactly to reality. This gives us precise information about the conditions in the mouth, the position of the teeth, the density of the bone tissue and so on. In the software, it is possible to measure lengths and angles, scroll through cross-sections and create 3D reconstruction models.
The imaging is completely painless and requires no preparation in advance. It uses the lowest possible amount of radiation and takes a very short time.
This makes it possible to carry out the diagnosis and plan the treatment in a single visit.
When is 3D diagnostics used?
- 3D diagnostics has an irreplaceable role before procedures such as placing dental implants, tooth extractions (especially of “wisdom” teeth), endodontic procedures or treatment of periodontal disease.
- 3D imaging is also unique in that the software can be linked to CEREC, which then produces an implant restoration made exactly to measure while you wait.
