With digital X-rays, there is no need to use film and develop images, which saves time and spares you stress. The image is simply captured on the computer and can then be enlarged, adjusted or colour-corrected, which makes diagnosis easier and improves the quality of treatment.
Digital X-rays make it possible to take panoramic or intraoral images of the mouth during a single visit to the dentist. It is also possible to take an image of just one tooth.
As far as your health is concerned, the radiation dose is minimal and much lower than with conventional X-rays. If you wish, we can provide the image in electronic form or on a CD or other storage media.
