At our modern dental care centre, we offer comprehensive care if you suffer from periodontal disease. We always try conservative treatment first, but if your disease is already at an advanced stage, we offer surgical therapy.
Periodontal disease is a serious disease of the tissues supporting the teeth, which gradually also damages the bone in which the teeth are anchored. The first symptoms are pain, swelling and bleeding of the gums; later the teeth may even fall out. Our specialist teams are ready to help you even if your disease has reached an advanced stage.
Surgical periodontal therapy allows us to remove periodontal defects and the inflammation caused by damage to the bone tissue. We focus on restoring the function of the damaged tissues and replacing damaged tissue, thereby supporting tissue regeneration.
After surgical therapy, we can turn to replacing lost teeth, including with implants, or to an artificial replacement for receding gums. We also offer a silicone gingival epithesis (artificial gum), which we can make specifically for you.
