Implantology is the field that specialises in dental implants to replace missing teeth. Whether you need to replace a single tooth or all your teeth, we have a solution for you.
Aesthetic and functional benefits of implants
Implants are not only an aesthetic solution; they also fully restore or preserve chewing function. Your teeth will look natural and work efficiently.
Preparing for implant placement
Before the procedure itself, you will need a consultation with our implantologist, who will propose a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Using 3D images and reconstruction models, we assess the quality of your jawbone and prepare for successful implant placement.
The procedure
The process involves the painless insertion into the jawbone of a titanium screw, which serves as the tooth root. After a healing period of 6–24 weeks, we fit a crown on the implant, most often an all-ceramic one, which can be made while you wait thanks to CEREC technology.
Aftercare
Implants have a long lifespan, but it is affected by the quality of the bone and by your oral hygiene. Follow the recommended oral hygiene carefully and attend regular check-ups for the best results.
We plan every procedure at our dental care centre carefully to keep the risk of an implant failing or not healing in as low as possible.
