The science behind our treatments

The techniques we use in Prague are not our own improvisation. They are based on MALO CLINIC protocols, published and tested in the scientific literature for more than two decades.

From science to smiles

The motto we use as our tagline is not just a marketing phrase. The concept of a fixed full-jaw restoration on implants was developed at MALO CLINIC and was designed from the outset to be verifiable: through long-term patient follow-up, measuring implant survival and publishing the results.

This is what sets a validated protocol apart from a technique that each practice adapts in its own way. The protocol has defined indications, a defined sequence of steps and criteria for when it should not be used — and everything is described so that it can be repeated and checked.

Our Prague centre uses these protocols in the form established across the network. We do not invent our own variations or add steps that have not been described.

Where to find the publications

Scientific papers on the MALO CLINIC protocols are published and maintained by the international network. You will find the collection of publications and an overview of the research on its website:

The publications are the work of the MALO CLINIC network’s research team, not of the Prague centre. We therefore cite them as a source we stand by, not as our own work.

Education and training

Teaching is also part of the network. Our chief dentist is an official Nobel Biocare instructor and has been running implantology training since 2009. We have separate pages for dentists and students:
